Evidences on buildings in Santiago
This time we review the state of architecture in Santiago,
taking three routes as starting points: architecture in newspaper advertisements;
the do-it-yourself architecture, or modifications, of the user; and
what we know as high architecture, the kind published and studied. The
question that emerges from these explorations speaks to the clarity
we would like to see in talks between architects and the recipients
of their architecture: “Are we thinking about the same thing?”
